Clare Palmer

I have been learning and practicing Nonviolent Communication (NVC) for about 15 years now, and find it becomes more important to me as time goes on and as my understanding grows. I have experienced and witnessed the power of this process and philosophy to transform and heal our inner pain and conflicts, hurt from the past, and current relationships of all kinds.
I have spent more than 20 years working in the UK charity and campaigns sector, where I have seen many internal conflicts getting in the way of objectives. I am passionate therefore about using my skills in organisations, to resolve such conflicts, and I’m excited about this way of contributing to the growth of peace, social justice and sustainability.
For four years I was part of the core team organising the Rainbow Mill NVC Community Camp in Norfolk.
I also really enjoy one-to-one and small group work, and supporting parents and family life, inspired by my experience bringing up my three children aged between 13 and 26. Based in Colchester, Essex, I am a certified trainer with the Center for Nonviolent Communication.
