Connect to Life
Foundation in Compassionate Communication, Newcastle, 15 & 16 February 2014 - 3 places left

Would you like to bring more peace and compassion to your family life?
Would you like to be able to understand your children's needs and take care of them and yourself too?

This two day non-residential workshop will give you an understanding of the key concepts and principles of Compassionate or Nonviolent Communication (NVC). You will learn about some practical tools and methods to help you connect with your underlying needs and values and those of the people around you, so that you will be able to approach relationships with greater understanding and compassion.

This workshop is particularly aimed at people with children. Babies-in-arms (non-mobile) are welcome in the workshop. The content of the sessions focuses on issues that come up in living with children.

We will work in pairs and small groups, reflecting on and using our own experiences. There will be plenty of opportunities to practice your new skills in a safe, friendly environment.

The number of participants is limited to 12 and the costs have been kept at a low level to support the participation of parents with limited financial resources.
