Connect to Life
Foundation in Nonviolent Communication

Saturday 15 & Sunday 16 July 2017
2 Church Walk, Colchester, Essex CO1 1NS

  • Would you like to bring more peace and compassion to your relationships and your life?
  • Would you like to find new ways to communicate and resolve conflicts?
  • Would you like to be able to understand and meet more of your needs and those of the people around you - in your family, at work, in the community?

This two day weekend non-residential workshop will give you an understanding of the key concepts and principles of Nonviolent Communication (NVC). You will learn about some practical tools and methods to help you connect with your underlying needs and values and those of the people around you, so that you will be able to approach relationships  - and yourself - with greater understanding, choice and compassion.

We will work in pairs and small groups, reflecting on and using our own experiences. There will be plenty of opportunities to practice your new skills in a safe, friendly environment.

Babies-in-arms (non-mobile) are welcome in the workshop, to support the participation of parents.

The venue is in Colchester town centre, very near to shops and cafes for lunchtimes.

Timings:
Saturday 10.00 - 5.00, Sunday 10.00 - 5.00

Book here

Cost: £120 per person for the weekend, £60 per day. Contact Clare if the cost is preventing you from booking - some flexibility may be possible. A deposit of £20 will secure your place.

You will receive a certificate at the end of the course and attendance for the weekend will give you access to further Nonviolent Communication courses for which a Foundation is a requirement.

Unfortunately, this venue is not accessible for those who cannot manage stairs. If this is you, please contact me so we can discuss any other ways we might be able to work together to support your NVC learning.
