Connect to Life
The Empathy Hub

The Empathy Hub is a new monthly get-together in Colchester town centre to practice and improve our empathy skills, have some time to connect more deeply with ourselves and share in a small, friendly group. Each month we will take some time to listen and speak, and focus on a theme or aspect of Nonviolent Communication.

The Empathy Hub takes place on the first Tuesday of the month, 7.30 – 9 pm at Top Floor, 2 Church Walk, Colchester CO1 1NS.

All are welcome, whether you have done any prior NVC training or not!

Meeting dates:
1 May 2018
5 June 2018
3 July 2018

From the main road (Head Street), turn into Church Walk – a cafe called Vinny’s is on the corner. Walk up to the red and white barber’s pole – just past that is an entrance – ring the black and white bell just right of the door (no label on bell).

Please arrive 5-10 minutes earlier if you can to allow time to make a drink and settle in.

There is no parking at the venue. The nearest car park is St Mary’s, Balkerne Hill CO3 3AA which is pay and display. There are also other town centre car parks.

I’m requesting a £7 contribution per meeting (or 4 for £20, don’t need to be consecutive), to cover costs. If this is hard for you to afford, please let me know as I’d like to be flexible to support your attendance if possible.

Unfortunately, this venue is not accessible for those who cannot manage stairs. If this is you, please contact me so we can discuss any other ways we might be able to work together to support your NVC learning.
